Club News

There will be a disco at the club on Friday 29th August with DJ Ben. This will be a really good night with all proceeds going to support junior cricket at the club. Tickets are £3 per person - watch out for more details around the club.Junior Presentation Night is set for Friday September 12th at 6pm. Weather allowing there will be cricket. Some Indian food and the BBQ will be in action and we will be having a raffle to raise funds for junior cricket. We also have a special guest coming along to present awards etc so see you there!!New carpet tiles are now down in the clubhouse. Well done to John Shipman and Andy McParland for sorting these out. They look great and are a real improvement to the clubhouse appearance. I can personally vouch for the bacon cobs that are now on sale on U13 and other junior games! Tracy and David Nightingale have sorted out a grill and are doing a roaring trade on match days. All this helps club funds and is another example of people doing something for the club.The club bar will be open on Junior and Senior match days. Why not pop up the club watch a game and have a beer? We have wine by the glass and a full range of soft drinks as well. Kit monies are now due. Please pay asap. If not paid players will not be selected.
