Cricket Force ...BTCC Andy McParland This year Cricket Force 2008 takes place over the weekend of April 4th. 5th and 6th. The club are delighted that two parents of junior players Andy McParland and Tracy Nightingale have joined the committee and volunteered to help organise Cricket Force 2008 activities and help make our club a better place to play and watch cricket. Together with other parents they started helping last year when the club purchased the new BBQ. Both Andy and Tracy have started to write to and approach local businesses who may wish to support the club through this event. Andy, Tracy and the rest of the committee can't do all the work for this event on their own. WE NEED YOUR HELP!Planned projects for 2008 include a revamp of the clubhouse with new flooring, painting and new furniture. Outside the fences will once again be repaired and painted with the juniors to the for hopefully undertaking a sponsored fence paint. New benches are also planned to mark the passing of old friends. PLEASE VOLUNTEER TO SPEND SOME TIME HELPING, BE YOU A PLAYER, SPECTATOR, PARENT OR SOMEONE WHO JUST LIKES DIY.IF YOU RUN A BUSINESS THAT CAN HELP US THEN PLEASE GET IN TOUCH.
