The ClubBTCC Barrow Town Cricket Club is a thriving friendly village cricket club located in Barrow upon Soar near Loughborough in Leicestershire. The club is one of the oldest in the country and plays a central part in the sporting life of the village. We play in the Everards Leicestershire Cricket League and our junior section competes in the Leicestershire Youth Cricket League. The club runs two Saturday senior sides with the Ist XI playing in Divison 1 and the 2nd XI in Divison 4. The Sunday XI comprises a mix of senior and junior players playing 40 over friendly matches and the club also competes in local evening cup competitions.The club has been awarded ECB Focus Club Status due to its track record in developing young cricketers and it has also attained the ECB Clubmark standard which is the benchmark for good practice in child welfare in cricket.
