Barrow CC Junior Awards Evening 2025

Friday 5th September from 5pm

Summer returns to Barrow just in time for the clubs prestigious Junior Awards Evening.

We look forward to welcoming everyone, players, parents, coaches, and supporters, to our junior cricket end of season awards ceremony. What a fantastic junior season it has been -filled with sunshine, brilliant moments, incredible dedication, and a true display of cricketing spirit from each and every one of our young players.

Please support this event by coming down to the Croft eating a burger (or two), having a drink (or three) from Cow Corner bar, buying a few raffle tickets, and watching the Junior End of Season Awards unfold.

Timetable

5.00pm - 9.00pm Food and Drink served
5.30pm - 6.00pm Fun games of cricket on the outfield
6.15pm - 7.30pm Celebration of Junior Cricket with award presentations
8.00pm Raffle Prize Draw
9.00pm End

The Junior All Stars and the U7's will be rewarded with sweets as they have previously been presented their certificates. Each junior player in the U9, U11, U13 & U15 squads will be presented with a participation medal. There will be four age group trophy presentations :-

Spirit of Barrow Award
Most Improved Player of the Season Award
Players Player of the Season Award
Player of the Season Award

The final award will be made to the Barrow CC Junior Player of the Season.

Medal and trophies will be presented by Tom Birch from Cheshire County Cricket Board and Logan Malthus from Barrow CC (overseas player)

Numbers for this event are expected to be high so please arrive as early as you can if you would like food before the awards start at 6.15pm. Card payment please.

A raffle will be run throughout the evening to raise funds for the club ground development. If you can donate a raffle prize - then please bring it with you on the night. Cash payment for raffle tickets please.

Outdoor seating is limited so please bring camping chairs to sit on for the Awards Presentations.

Parking is available in the club carpark and alongside both the white picket fence and under the trees (roadside side of the ground). Please drive carefully with many juniors likely to be in attendance,

All juniors should wear their Barrow CC blue junior playing shirt so we can get take team pictures and try and take one photo with all junior players in.
